I am Flora Morris Brown and it seems that I’ve been an entrepreneur all of my life. As a child my mother’s customers in her beauty shop were my first customers. I sold craft items and ran errands to make money.
While teaching and raising my children I started a tutoring program for 6 year olds through adults.
Later I began my gift basket business in the early 1990’s. At the time I was a full-time teacher at Fullerton College in Fullerton, CA. I started my gift basket business with the intent of continuing it into retirement. The Internet was still new. While there were a number of very creative designers then, finding information, classes and sources was challenging.
Like me I’m sure you continually search for ideas, sources for inventory, business development ideas and more. With the expansion of the Internet, blogs, tradeshows and publications, things have changed. Now there’s lots of information available. But searching through all the information can be frustrating. Let’s face it, most busy business owners just don’t have time to sift through it. I believe I have the perfect solution for you.
Using my years of experience as an entrepreneur, business owner, seminar presenter and my fondness for research, I created this newsletter to share with you information that can help make your business more profitable.
